SANAC is seeking consultancy services from an eligible Lead proposal writer; for funding from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); under PEPFAR. The purpose of funding is to support the multi-sectoral implementation of the NSP at the national and sub-national levels.
The SANAC Trust has the responsibility of leading prevention efforts to ensure the 48 million HIV negative persons in South Africa remain negative. HIV prevention is also one of the central goals in the NSP and in other targeted policies. SANAC Trust achieves its mandate through multi-sectoral structures such as Provincial; District and Local AIDS Councils.
These structures act as advisory structures to the executive committees such as the provincial legislature on all policies related to HIV, TB and STIs. The structures also support the effective involvement of sectors and organizations and development of district implementation plans in line with the NSP; besides monitoring the implementation of these plans as well as overseeing the mobilization of resources for HIV, TB and STI programs. These multi-sectoral structures which are situated at national and sub-national levels, need the capacity, skills and systems to coordinate, manage and monitor activities related, but not limited to the implementation of the NSP.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 21 September 2018 @ 11:00 A.M
Interested parties should email their proposals to Beullah Mthombeni at SANAC: Beullah@sanac.org.za
