IMG-20180724-WA0031Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi leads South Africa’s participation in the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) session on the South African National HIV Prevalence, Incidence, Behaviour and Communication Survey, 2017.

The 2017 HIV and Health Study is the fifth wave of a series of cross-sectional surveys undertaken by a research consortium led by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) every few years. This satellite session includes a presentation on the survey findings as well as a panel discussion. The session is chaired by Dr Connie Kganakga and speakers include Minister Motsoaledi and UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe.

A delegation of more than 500 South Africans are taking part in the 22nd International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands under the theme “Breaking Barriers Building Bridges”.
