JOB SUMMARY AND REQUIREMENTS:
SANAC is looking for IT Manager who is a tech enthusiast and thrives for making waves with extraordinaire leading our digital revolution. The IT Manager will steer the strategic development of SANAC business systems to ensure they’re both innovative and impactful. Will skilfully navigate strategies for tech initiatives, all while championing corporate governance to tame IT risks and nurture team growth. Define and determine the IT needs for the organisation, this includes both hardware and software. Review and develop IT security policies to protect the organizations information and ensure that the organisation is protected from cyber-attacks. Ensure that all SANAC staff members are getting all the IT support they need to do their day-to-day work. Ensure the maximum uptime of all SANACs online tools, systems and platforms. Always be a step ahead with solutions to better the organizations day to day operations by using latest technologies.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to):
- IT manager to Lead the design and subsequent implementation of IT projects within SANAC •manage the implementation to achieve plan and deliverables, managing risks, issues and change. •Coordinate system roll out •Drive IT maintenance communication and stakeholder management •Deployment and maintenance support in a fast-paced environment •Responsible for providing on call support to users •Playing the role of System Administrator to deliver support service to staff •Conduct problem investigation and root cause analysis. •Scope including infrastructure support, problem fixing, root cause analysis. •Fulfil user request. •Productively manage systems to ensure smooth running of the IT environment. • Change management, including tracking change and issue management •Development of IT strategy in conjunction with the top management and execution of said strategy •Heavily involved in operational improvement initiatives including but not limited to:
- Infrastructure, Development, IT Operations Implementations
- Design, application and building standards
- Increased quality of methodology execution
- Growth of IT services and competence
- Operate computer hardware Infrastructure
- IT security management
- Maintaining records and statistics
- Administer IT site infrastructure
- Liase with users with regard to all data communication matters
- Provide feedback and reports
- Administer help desk/problem handling system
- Do configuration management
- Perform other duties and support roles within SANAC as required.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:
- A Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or another IT-related field
- Professional Certification
- 6 – 8 years’ demonstrable IT management work experience
- With 8-10 years of experience in IT operations, you’ve excelled in overcoming IT/IS challenges and leading teams to success.
- Experience with the following systems are preferred: SAGE, Cloud Computing, Office 365 etc.
- Excellent knowledge of information technology general controls, data and cyber security, computer hardware/software systems, and SAGE
- Direct experience with and managing ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience leading and/or managing IT projects, Data management and analytics
- Understanding and experience with managing data network and telecommunications systems
- Good understanding of software development and programming
- Understanding and experience with managing IT infrastructure including systems, personal computing, help desk, servers, and printers
- Ability to effectively communicate technology, infrastructure and process needs and requirements with all personnel levels; oral and written communication
- Excellent report writing, analytical and organizational skills
- Strategic and Management skills
- Exceptional and solid backing of knowledge and expertise.
- Managing and supporting audits
- Team-player, able to work under pressure, manage conflicting deadlines and flexible
