OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSULTANCY
The objective of this consultancy is to finalise the national capacity building strategy and a training toolkit for AIDS Councils that will offer a tailor made response to the needs of the provinces.
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity and to improve the functionality of sub national AIDS Councils structures (provincial, district and local AIDS councils and their secretariats as well as ward AIDS committees) to effectively and efficiently fulfil their mandates in coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the HIV and TB response at provincial, district and local level, through support to government, civil society sectors and local level to ensure accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the National Strategic Plan (NSP).
